One of the most unsatifying death in film history.
Faulkner has returned to London from the unnamed African country, having lost most of his men in the process, all due to the betrayal of Sir Matheson. NAturally the film concludes with a score settling confrontation between Faulkner and Matheson.
Oh boy, you think, I can't imagine the torturous death sequence Matheson is about to go through at the hands of Faulkner. And what happens? Burton suprises Granger, and delivers a long and boring monologue, before the highlight comes. Burton takes up his gun, and anticipation rises as to what he is going to do to Matheson.
Disappointingly, he shoots a single shot to his stomach, and Granger groans and dies. Thats it!!!
I think you should mention the character, not the actor, near the bottom.
Few typos...
- "One of the most unsatifying death in film history." There's a an 's' missing somewhere...
- "NAturally"
- "Granger groans and dies" Should be Matheson.
