A truly "monumental" kung-fu duel within Rome's Collosseum (legend has it the film crew were denied permission to film there so they sneaked in at 5am to shoot their scene).

Chuck has a blackbelt, but the Italian pussy is not impressed

Chuck Norris really is one hairy mofo, but he should really be kicking Bruce here, not the wall.

What is unusual about this fight is that both men take time out for a lengthy warm up routine. Indeed, you might be forgiven if you're suddenly worryingly unsure of the genre of this film once Bruce and Chuck start stripping off and flexing their muscles at each other.
It is with some relief then, that the gyrations eventually cease and the arse kicking begins.

As is usual in these kinds of encounters, the furry Caucasian gets in a few hard strikes but once the intense Chinese drum soundtrack starts up, we know that Tang Lung is going to beat the living stuffing out of his hirsute opponent.

Hair waxing, Bruce Lee style - Ouch!

Sure enough, he soon has his chest hairs savagely ripped out and is then on the receiving end of a vicious beating that would presumably have required months of hospital care to recover from.
We'll never know though because Chuck obviously has a death wish and Lee is in no mood to disappoint him. With a broken leg and the loss of his entire right arm due to a seldom seen Kung Fu nerve attack, it's hard not to feel a bit sorry for old Chuck. Even Bruce silently shakes his head as the now legally disabled wreck of a man continues to try and fight.

At this point Chuck has lost the use of two limbs - stay down fool!

Colt obviously wants to die in combat though, and even though he can no longer put any weight on his right leg, he still falls towards Dragon and is despatched with a standing guillotine choke.
Tang Lung then starts to leave the arena (presumably because the Italian authorities have sussed out that illegal filming is going on), but has a pang of conscience so returns to cover the hairy corpse with his still warm karate gi and black belt.

Chuck is put to sleep, UFC style

Regarding the last comment made....

The dark is afraid of Chuck Norris and clearly the fight at the end of way of the dragon wasn't all one sided in Bruce Lee's favour... its just that Chuck let him win!!!!!

I seem to remember in the early stags of the fight, that Chuck opened up a can of whopass on Bruce.

I've added "Broken Neck" to this death, even though in my opinion Chuck is choked out. However, these types of films like adding sickening "neck crunch" sound effects, so the category should probably apply.
