The Warriors finally heading back home to Coney. As they are nearing the boardwalk, Luther, armed with a revolver, and his gang [The Rogues] pull up in his hearse.
Sitting in the passenger's seat, he pulls out three bottles and proceeds to chant his infamous line (That has haunt David Patrick Kelly ever since), "Waaaarriioors.... come out to plaaay-eee-aay!"
The fight winds up on the beach and after a very cool, attitude-filled exchange, Luther pulls a gun on Swan. Just as he fires, Swan throws a knife into Luther's arm, making him drop the gun - and fall to his knees. Swan cleans off his blade with Luther's hair, when the Gramercy Riffs battle cry is heard.
"RIFFS!"
"Yeah, Right!"
The Riffs come over the hill, armed to the teeth and looking for vengeance. They apologise for what happened to the Warriors, and close in around the Rogues.
Luther screams "NOOOOOOO!" at the top of his lungs, as the Riffs close in around the Rogues, beating objects at the ready. The large number of people beating him means we don’t physically see him killed, but killed he is.
Is it really a projectile death? Swan didn't kill Luther with the knife. If he had thrown it into Luthers head, maybe, but the knife didn't kill him.
I still think projectile is a major catalyst in the fight, then again I am but a drone on this site, you'll have to ask old Mr. MouseBluffer
I just watched 48 Hours for the first time, and David Patrick Kelly is in it, again playing a character named Luther.
