Igor is the henchman of Dracula for most of the movie, having betrayed his original master, Dr. Victor Frankenstein, over the smallest matter: money.
Igor is chasing the monk, Carl, with an electric rod. They end up on a large bridge that connects the towers of Dracula's castle. Far above them, Frankenstein's Monster is dangling from a cable after a rather long fall. He looks down at the two figures moving when the cable he is holding on to snaps, and he falls yet again.
Igor is amusing himself by tormenting Carl with the rod, teasingly poking at Carl's feet with it, when the cable Frankenstein's Monster is holding onto lands on the bridge and is whipped across the bridge at high speed. Carl ducks just in time as the cable runs over his head and slams into Igor's stomach. With this blow, Igor is sent into the air where he screams and plunges into the darkness below.
His death was just so-so. It was a primitive looking fall as it was viewed as if he was simply standing while the background was moving and he got smaller.
That's what happens, kids, when you do nothing but slouch.
lol, you'd think that because he slouched, he would be crippled and hunched over enough to dodge the wire thing that fatally knocked him from the bridge.
