After finding Lucian (seemingly) dead from Kraven's betrayal, the lycan leader's right-hand man Raze immediately runs off in search of Kraven. Instead, he finds Soren, Kraven's sadistic henchman, who had also been in on the plan to overthrow Viktor. There is believed to be personal animosity between Soren and Raze that has gone on for some time, and now the two would finally face off in a fight to the death. Soren throws off his jacket and reveals his two deadly silver-tipped bullwhips. Raze also throws off his coat and transforms into his monstrous werewolf form.

Soren has spent centuries torturing lycan slaves long before the werewolf revolt though, and is unafraid, waving his whips about and lashing them at the werewolf to drive him back. Raze, however, is a tough brute and isn't going to take this. Braving the stinging whips, Raze suddenly charges forward, leaving Soren surprised by this act of defiance and the werewolf proceeds to knock him down, disarming the vampire. The last thing Soren sees is Raze's massive jaws close over his head to tear it off.
