Jack Thorpe is Luis Cali's right-hand man, and the only American member of the terrorist group with seizes control of the Regis School. US Army snipers have taken out the two terrorist guards on the roof of the school so that they and Dean Parker can gain entrance to the school grounds and disarm the detonator in the headmaster's office.

However prior to dying, one of the guards drops a live grenade that falls down, detonating and killing all but Parker and one of the bomb specialists. Hearing the explosion, Cali attempts to contact the men on the roof but considering they're dead, he receives no answers. Sensing something is amiss, he sends trusty Jack to investigate.

By the time Jack arrives on the rooftop however, the army has already begun a large-scale invasion of the school using helicopter gunships. Scurrying across the roof and finding the two dead terrorists, Jack grabs a rocket launcher and prepares to shoot down the approaching helicopters. However, he is caught off guard when a third helicopter rises up literally right in front of him. Before the astonished terrorist can even think about shooting them down, the gunship opens fire with its chain guns. The bullets rip through Jack's body and he dies instantly.
