Vargas has not uttered a word through the entire film, but his moment has come when he is ordered to kill Bond.

Bond is casually relaxing on the beach with his latest bit of fluff, Domino Derval. He has just dispassionately told her that her brother is dead and he needs her help, which could get her killed. Vargas, rather unsubtley walks up to the beach front, while attaching a silencer to his gun.

Domino notices him and tells Bond, who quickly grabs the harpoon and fires it into Vargas, pinning him to a coconut tree. Vargas' one and only word in the film was "arrrghh" as the harpoon embeds itself in his chest; well worth the Equity minimum!

Turning to Domino, Bond quips I think he gets the point.

Shouldn't this be projectile as this isn't a gun, it's a harpoon?
Comment 3 by 'Mr Mouseburger' (reply to this comment)
Indeed it should - when this was written up we did not have projectile, and so shot was the best placed caegory to assign it to. However, with the modifcations to the category system, we can now give it its correct category. Good Spot!

What about "Impalement"?
Comment 5 by 'Matt' (reply to this comment)
I'd agree with Briggs, as it appears it impales him to a tree.
