Jacob McGivens is a bigoted, scarred, dentally-challenged, pseudo-religious desperado whose uses the tenuous claim that his crimes are justified, as he is doing the Lord's work.
Having already lost his teeth earlier in the film during a fight with Zorro he soon finds that he is about to lose something else when he meets our masked hero once again. One duel later and McGivens finds himself caught on some sort of vertical cog/wheel that slowly pulls him backwards on it, trapping him.
He then notices he is directly beneath a pipe which has nitroglycerin pouring into it, and he can also see a single drop of the explosive chemical forming at the end of the tube above him. Cue his cries of horror as a drop falls from the tube, aimed straight at his forehead.
Zorro is no fool, and he ducks as the nitroglycerin contacts Jacob's skull, detonating on impact. Zorro looks back and he sees that, although Jacob's body is still on the cog/wheel, McGivens is now minus a head. No doubt his last thoughts were to regrets on sporting a cape like Zorro as it was this item of clothing that caused him to get stuck on the cog.
Let that be a lesson kids; capes kill (see Syndrome)
Maybe we should link to Syndrome's death with regards to the "capes kill" at the bottom.
hehehe, good point, i will add it in....
The film bit should say Legend of Zorro, The, because then it would come under the same list as Armand's death.
