Chasing John Connor in an attempt to kill him and change the future, where he is the general in charge of an army of humans fighting the self-aware machines who would lead them to victory, the liquid metal T-1000 robot's final confrontation happens to be at a metal refinery. After being frozen, shot into tiny pieces and then reforming back to normal (with some minimal malfunctions), he goes back in search of John Connor, but is stopped by the Terminator sent to protect him. However, its efforts are in vain, as the T-1000 is vastly superior, and the T-1000 beats the T-800 model senseless until it seems to deactivate.

He then tracks down Sarah Connor, John's mother, and tortures her to "call to John." She refuses, so the T-1000 simply takes her visage to lure him in. John is confused as to which is his real mother, the one pleading to him or the one which currently has the other at gunpoint. He realises which is which when he sees the pleading Sarah's feet have melded into the floor (a result of the malfunction after being frozen). Nevertheless, the T-1000 continues its onslaught.

Finally, after reactivating himself and grabbing a grenade launcher, the Terminator grabs hold of a large wheel in the factory to climb up to the area they are in. The minute he sees the T-1000, he aims the launcher and fires a grenade right into the molten metal cyborg's malleable belly, causing it to explode entirely in half. This unwieldy shape makes it impossible for the T-1000 to keep balance, and it topples into the vat of molten metal behind it.

Once inside, it writhes in pain in the sea of red hot metal, turning into all the people it had impersonated in its lifetime before screaming, its entire body seemingly going inside out before returning to normal, disintegrating into the molten metal and finally being destroyed.

This may be another bullets/gun thing, but it was the lava stoof that killed the old T-1000 X.P..

yes, it was the lava that killed him - but he would not have got into the lava stuff without a shot, an exlposion and a fall smiling smiley

I should point out that this write-up is out of order. Here's how it really goes

- T-1000 remorphs.
- T-800 splits from the Connors/fight# 1
- "Call to John"
- fight# 2
- the 2 Sarahs/reactivation
- T-1000 dies.

Combustion, please? After all, yes, T-1000 melted, but really, molten steel and no combustion? That does not go together. So really, the other categories are correct, but combustion is missing. If you don't put it there, I'll be so angry I'll burst into flames.(PUN INTENDED!! LOL!!)grinning smiley
