The school's two main jocks, who have made it their daily routine to torment shy social outcast and closet witchcraft practitioner, Tamara Riley, hits an all-time high when they are at risk of getting busted for steroid usage due to an article Tamara had written which was published in the school paper. Shawn's girlfriend also discovers Tamara has a big and not-so-secret crush on her English teacher Mr. Natolly.
Shawn and Patrick devise a cruel prank by tricking Tamara into thinking her teacher has returned her feelings for him and wants to meet her at a hotel. They trick AV geek Roger to loan them his video equipment, insisting they're video-taping an exotic dancer for a party. New guy Jesse is in too, though merely because he's a big party animal and jumps at the offer of going to one. Neither he nor his sister Chloe are aware of Patrick and Shawn's real plans, thinking it is no more than a harmless group getting together at a hotel.
When Tamara, who has got dressed up for this deflowering, arrives at the designated room which Shawn has rigged with a hidden camera, she finds a note she thinks is from Mr. Natolly asking her to undress and wait for him. Her happiness is very short-lived when Shawn suddenly bursts in and grabs hold of the camera, stripping the covers off Tamara and laughing cruelly at her as she attempts to get away, all the while broadcasting this to the TV in the neighbouring room the others are in.
Needless to say, Chloe, Jesse, and Roger are not amused and Chloe, disgusted with this cruel joke, immediately springs into action and attacks Patrick, demanding to know where Tamara is.
Tamara manages to get out of the room but Shawn pursues, having too much fun at her expense. Chloe bursts out of the nearby door, but Tamara gets the wrong idea, thinking Chloe is in on the prank, and she attacks her. Jesse unsuccessfully tries to get Tamara off of Chloe, but is thrown off for his efforts. Shawn enters the room at this point and continues the recording while he and Patrick then attempt to subdue her. Unable to get her to stop screaming so no one will hear her and interfere, Shawn and Patrick throw her at a nearby table headfirst in an attempt to knock her out. This, however, proves a mistake as the blow is fatal to the girl, killing her instantly.
After realising this, Shawn threatens to frame the murder on the innocent Jesse and Chloe if they try to report him or Patrick. He convinces them by pointing out enough misleading evidence, that insures he'd get away with it anyway, and so the group buries Tamara's body in the woods where no one will find her. Little do they know that Tamara had used a love spell earlier intended for Mr. Natolly that would bring her back with a vengeance...
