With the famous quote: "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few or the one.", Spock manually fixes the Warp Drive that is literally leaking radiation, in order to allow the Enterprise to reach a high enough speed to avoid destruction from the Genesis bomb, thus saving the entire crew.

This death was noble, but the scriptwriters could not leave this character die, and so came up with a Spock transferred his “katra” to Bones, enabling him to be resurrected for the next film. Highly illogical captain...

Sorry to be a nitpicker, but it's "Captain" Spock.

No pediatricians were harmed during the making of this movie.

Spock was NEVER a doctor. His name is either Captain Spock or Mr. Spock. This entry is not titled correctly.

Spock is a child psychologist!

Mr Briggs, really? As well as a Star ship Captain?

I am pretty certain Spock was a doctor, specialising in homeopathic medicine, which is how he developed such an understanding for pressure points (aka the Vulgan death grip).

John, i dont think he was a pediatrician - he was never interested in peoples feet.

That's not what a pediatrician is. According to dictionary.com, a pediatrician is a doctor who specializes in pediatrics, which is "The branch of medicine that deals with the care of infants and children and the treatment of their diseases."

I believe a foot doctor is an orthopedist.

I'm not sure what country you gents are from, but suspect it is not England.
Mouse isn't stupid (he achieved a commendable 'D' grade in his O-level English), he was just having fun with his (superior) British humour.
And yes, he knows that Trekkies don't say "Nanoo nanoo" as well...
