Sandor has been sent to assassinate Fekkesh and anyone else who comes into contact with the microfilm. When Bond turns up at Fekkesh's apartment, Sandor aims to kill him, but his assassination is foiled by a bit of totty.

Sandor decides to run for it, hotly pursued by Bond. The chase is across the rooftops of Cairo and inevitably ends up with Bond cornering his man, and they have a bit of a scuffle. The fight ends up with Sandor teetering over the edge of one of the houses, clinging on to Bond's tie to stop him falling.

Bond asks him where Fekkesh is to be found. Considering the position he is in, Sandor obliges and tells him he is at the pyramids. Bond then pulls the tie from Sandor's grasp, causing him to fall to his death.
