Throughout the film we are shown that the geeky, awkward doctor from England has had zero success with ladies throughout his boring life. It is plausible then that when he is ravished by the gorgeous Sil, he does actually recognise her as the deadly alien killing machine but simply doesn't care. Looking at Natasha Henstridge as a foxy brunette, we have a certain empathy with that point of view.

Here we see a lifetime of scientific endeavour cast aside for a few moments of bliss with an alien nymphomaniac.

Meanwhile, the world's most useless Empath(q.v.) sees a hairdye advert and belatedly realises Sil is still alive.

Sil of course isn't motivated by romance or even lust, she needs human man-seed in order to reproduce, and her body is perfectly engineered to harvest it.

The Englishman doesn't keep his lady waiting long, and within seconds she is pregnant.

Arden doesn't stand a chance and within moments he is lying backwards with a goofy grin on his face, which is soon wiped off at the horrifying news that he is about to be a dad.
It is unclear why Sil kills her new mate, but we maintain Arden went to his maker with no regrets.

A death fully deserving of its "Blaze of Glory" category.

Bagging Natasha Henstridge before dying is certainly a lofty goal to attain, but I'd be hesitant to categorize it as a blaze of glory. There was little glory here, seeing as how immediately after the deed, she declares herself pregnant.

Any man in the world will tell you that is a fate worse than death. Thus, any previous coital-based glory is nullified. Of course, she frees him by killing him, but nonetheless, glory = nullified.

A Blaze Of Glory is described as...
:
When a character grabs fate by the testicles and guarantees themselves a glorious death by charging into insurmountable odds.
Which seems to fit...
:
It is plausible then that when he is ravished by the gorgeous Sil, he does actually recognise her as the deadly alien killing machine but simply doesn't care.
He recognized her, and even knowing his chances of survival were quite slim, he decides to grab fate and bag her anyway.

I think the entire presence of a "Sex" category is grounds to go out with a blaze of glory!

WOOHOO! 2 hott for the Movie Deaths Database!
