Perhaps the most detailed and deliberate death in the movie. Marv has tracked down Kevin, a cannibalistic serial killer under the protection of the powerful Roarke family. The sick murderer believes that he can eat the very souls of his victims whilst eating their bodies, and through this ritual can become closer to God.

It was Kevin who murdered Marv's love Goldie, and thus provided the single-minded determination for revenge in our hero.

There is one problem for Marv though; Kevin possesses inhuman agility and is capable of moving without making noise. The last time these two people faced each other, Kevin soundly defeated Marv and imprisoned him in his dungeon, where he displays the perfectly intact faces of his previous victims like sporting trophies.  In the cell, he found his terrified parole officer, Lucille, who had her hand removed and expertly bandaged.  She tells him hysterically: "Son of a bitch. He kept smiling that damn smile...  made me watch him... suck the meat off my fingers...  He made me watch. He made me watch!"

Marv managed to rip the bars from the cell window and escape and now he is ready for a rematch.

This time, he carefully plans his attack. He sets up razor wire in the woods outside the Roarke compound and lures Kevin out with a firebomb. This doesn't work though, as Kevin slickly avoids all of the wire and closes in on Marv. Kevin gets in some good hits at first, but makes the mistake of getting too close and Marv clinches and quickly handcuffs the pair of them together. Now, prevented from hopping around, Kevin gets beaten into unconsciousness with Marv's bare hands.

This is where it gets grisly. Marv has a penchant for killing the wicked in horrible ways, and this proves to be no exception. When Kevin finally awakes, he discovers that Marv has tied tourniquets around the bases of his limbs and has sawn his arms and legs off.

Even more disturbingly, Kevin is showing no apparent reaction to this. His expression is completely calm and he still seems to have an insane grin on his face. Suddenly, the wolf which Kevin has fed the scraps from his victims to comes bounding up to the tree licking its lips at another potential meal. Marv gloatingly tells Kevin "look who's here", and the wolf moves in on its master. The camera zooms in on Kevin's face as we hear the man-eating wolf begin chewing on his bloody stumps, but Kevin simply closes his eyes in calm resignation.

Marv watches the wolf feast on Kevin's still-living flesh for a while, and then he finally saws Kevin's head off, commenting that throughout the whole torture scene Kevin never screamed.

Added "Devoured" and updated the writeup to include Lucille's quote and a bit about Kevin's motivation for being a sadistic freak.
