In the middle of watching a scary movie, Tatum goes to the garage to pick up a few beers for the teens to sup on. She gets locked in the garage and so she opens the garage door to get out. However, as she approaches it, the garage door closes. Looking back at where the switch is, she sees one of the killers standing in the doorway.
Thinking it is someone playing a prank Tatum pretends to be a victim, but her joking turns to panic when the killer reveals a knife and slowly cuts Tatum's arm.
Running away, Tatum manages to slow the killer up by firstly slamming a freezer door into his face and secondly hurling lots of beer bottles at him. This buys her the time to use the cat flap in the garage door as an escape route.
Unfortunately for Tatum, she is a rather buxom lass, and she gets stuck in the cat flap when only halfway through. The killer, who has picked himself up from the beer bottle pounding he just received, returns to the garage door switch and flicks it. This opens the garage door, and drags Tatum up off the ground where she gets crushed and choked by the roof.
i didn't want her 2 die! she was 1 of the best characters in Scream!

i thought that sucked she was awsome and hot, she had a bad attitude though.
I watched this movie earlier today. I'd forgotten how badass she is, and she totally should've lived.

Pat - what are you on about? She did not die - she is alive and well according to IMDB, and I for one am delighted about this, not only because i dont likle to hear about anyone young dying, but also because she is to star in the eagerly anticipated remake of Red Sonja!

For the killer I think it should be "Stu." At the time Billy was sleeping with Cindy so it was definately Stu that killed Tatum.
No, Billy Loomis killed her. Stu Macher was on the front door when Loomis came in the house. Loomis killed Tatum before he was having sex with Sidney. Change that, Billy killed her 100%.

I don't know. I think they would come back in a flashback because they try to keep scream somewhat real. They wouldn't make someone so obviously dead come back to life. I can't wait for the movie though! By the way, this is a really great website!
No, Tatum was killed before Billy showed up at the door and him and Sidney went upstairs to "talk". It was probably Billy because he just came out of nowhere and looked as if he was in a hurry.
