Stu manages to catch Sydney in the lounge of the house and wrestles her to the ground. Unfortunately he is weakened from all the stabwounds that Loomis (q.v.) inflicted on him earlier [as a part of their alibi]. Sydney manages to bite Stu's hand and then grabbing a vase from the TV cabinet, smashes the vase on Stu's head.

Stunned, and lying on the floor vulnerable, Stu can only watch helplessly as Sydney topples the rather large TV onto his head. The impact alone would surely have killed him, but Hollywood adds in the electrocution aspect too to reassure the audience that this baddy is well and truly deceased.

Stu learns the hard way that too much TV is bad for you..
