The first death in the movie franchise, Steve is unfortunate to have blonde bimbo, Casey Riley (q.v.), as a girlfriend.

The killers have captured Steve and tied him up to a chair in Casey's back garden. When the killer phones Casey, he makes her answer a question correctly in order to save his life. It is probably at this point that Steve realises he is done for!

Casey gets over excited and answers incorrectly, failing to recognise the trick question. Steve gives out a scream and when Casey turns on the patio lights she sees he has been gutted.
