A rather nice duel between a Bandit King and a female warrior who wants to pass through his domain without paying tribute. ("Money? Who mentioned money? Tribute I said, the tender kind all women pay to Brytag!")

Brytag is determined not to lose the key to his gate, so wears it as a discreet yet stylish pendant.
The film has already established that Sonja is "a brave girl" though, so she challenges him to a duel instead. This amuses Brytag no end: "Woman, I have fought 177 men and only one survives... and he has got *no* legs!"
The ensuing banter is reminiscent of the duelling style used in the "Secret of Monkey Island" adventure game, with each exchange of blades punctuated with a "witty" comment - "I'll feed your eyes to the crows, red hair!" - "I don't need eyes to find you, I can smell you at a hundred paces!" etc etc.

I am rubber, you are glue!
Soon Brytag has taken a nasty slice on his sword arm, humiliating him in front of his men.
"I will tell the future in your entrails, red woman!" - "I know my future, you have none!"
This proves to be true, as after a short acrobatic display, Sonja runs him through with her fantasy broadsword.

This is why I love sword and sorcery films. No messing about with complex motives or plot - just slay the bandit king and grab the key to the next level.
Once Brytag is slaughtered, the rest of the bandits remain true to their class stereotype and try and capture Sonja anyway, but luckily, Arnie "Conan" Schwarzenegger appears in a brief cameo to rescue her.
