Billy is the Navajo of the party, and is completely unfazed by most atrocities in the film. Being Navajo he is, by default, also something of a seer, prophesying the death of the party early in the film.
The Predator killing off Dillon (q.v.) is the final straw for Billy and he decides to make a last stand on a log bridge over a very nice ravine. Dutch tries to reason with him (for about 3 nanoseconds) then decides to leave him to it.
To show how tough he is, Billy throws away his gun, draws his knife and proceeds to cut his chest without flinching. This is important because when you hear his off camera girlish scream seconds later, you know that the Predator must have done something terrible to him.
you forgot that later on in the movie the Predator ripped out his spine and skull and kept them as a trophy.
Good point Rex,
i should have mentioned the trophy hunting aspect of the Predator in the write up, i might tweak it in the next few days.

"Offscreen Death" would apply, and what about that head-hunting thing you said you would update?
Yeah, this a blatant Offscreen Killing.
Is this one on one?
I dunno, if it was it was a pretty quick one, a few seconds later pred's back to kill Pancho.
Tough muscle guy Billy, his dead body appears on a brunch after his death event. Apparently he didn't get decapitated and sliced, so i think he'd get stabbed and impaled deeply and brutally. His last loud screaming tells that.
...right before said body has it's spine ripped out...
