 Written by Old Bluffer 2nd Jun 2005 This had all the promise of a classic fight to the death between the aging master and the pupil turned to evil. Krull and Attar obviously hate each other and expectancy levels are therefore high when they face off against one another during the climactic battle. Disappointingly though, Attar just pounds his old mentor to death in a few seconds. I was EXTREMELY dissapointed by the death of Krull.
He was, in fact, my favorite character of the movie
and his death was so quick and just, well, ridiculous.
During the film you see Krull and Attar giving each other
bad looks, hinting that there was some tension between those two,
and when we finally get to see them go at it....nothing.
Absolutely nothing.
Krull really didn't have to die in the movie anyways.
They could have just beaten the crap out of each other
than stop when the space ship lands. It was really a waste
of scene and made my love for the movie and director drop
a bit.
