1. Magic - Creepy love story added to a darkly romantic character study 2. Marathon Man - Confusing thriller with some great performances and undertones 3. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre '74 - Perhaps the perfect horror film 4. Amadeus - A beautifully oddball historically-inaccurate drama containing 2 amazing performances 5. I can definitely agree on some points and disagree with others. I honestly like the setup of this film, it's got a better foundation IMO than most haunting-films nowadays in which some poor schmuck/schmucks just happen upon some curse. In the same vein, I thought Ganush was a marvelously-played antagonist, one of the best things about the film. I enjoy some of the things Christine does throughoutby Mr. Briggs Inc. - Death Reviews
Huh, usually that's just covered by whatever the force does to the person, but it could still work especially in cases with no "killer"s. For the record though, this should just go in general chat.by Mr. Briggs Inc. - Geeks' Basement

"Melting" could be added, as we do see a bit of this on Freddy's part when he was on fire, as could "Resurrection", since he reappears (As usual) for a final scare at the end. It could also be mentioned the real catalyst to this death was, in fact, a kiss from Lisa. I think he means "Not quite dead" as in the way Joey "vanquished" Krueger through blowing up his hall of mirrors with his super-scream, before he reappeared to royally screw over one hero in particular.by Mr. Briggs Inc. - Death Reviews
It usually takes a lotta time for review to get approved. Two of mine added today were submitted several months, if not years ago! Usually the new-release deaths are added by admins who, having just come from the film, know what went on, whereas they haven't seen/remembered all older movies. Because of this, it takes them a while to check them over for errors and such. The reviews forum is onlby Mr. Briggs Inc. - General Chat
Feh, I always thought it added a bit to the whole "personal flavor/tone" of the writeups, still you're the boss(es)by Mr. Briggs Inc. - General Chat
It mainly comes from the little things you notice in repeat viewings... as a fanboy . Oh, not to mention the standard DVD has horrible sound quality. On the death itself: I added "Food and Drink" and "Exsanguination", due to the leech in his mouth. I know that would do little to nothing in real life, but here it's another added factor to the already painful demise.by Mr. Briggs Inc. - Death Reviews
Yes indeed (Pre-exsanguination category), not exactly realistic, but veddy fun nonetheless!by Mr. Briggs Inc. - Death Reviews
I was having a ball writing these up way back when. X) Glad to see they are indeed saved!by Mr. Briggs Inc. - Death Reviews

Hmm, sounds like this film is to you like Rear Window is to me... X) On the bright side the death of the devil sounds utterly hi-larious, and I am glad you have found a use for Frogs after all!by Mr. Briggs Inc. - Death Reviews
Well they were basically innocent, though I figured since the audience seemed meant to sympathize with Phibes and his loss he would more likely apply to the "Ambivalent" sideby Mr. Briggs Inc. - Death Reviews
There were going to be more, but with the huge backlog I wanted to make it easier on you . And yes, I recommend Phantasm as both a cult classic and a semi-surreal buddy film. Don't worry, though it is slow-paced up until the middle, it is much more engrossing than Frogsby Mr. Briggs Inc. - Death Reviews
No, only "Revenge", which applies in most cases, though not sure hereby Mr. Briggs Inc. - Death Reviews

Yeah there is a category for them, but no "favorites" topic for that particular type. Se7en seems to corner the market on deaths not witnessed until the aftermathby Mr. Briggs Inc. - General Chat

QuoteKooshmeisterQuotebone meltingi wish the bad guys would win in the films (unless there gang members or rebals) Which kind of eliminates almost every kind of villain. Most bad guys are "rebels" in the sense that as criminals they're going against the laws of the land. Not in Raiders! Yeah, just looking for knife-throwers in general. It's one of those MOs that is unique enough to be cool usually without being so out there to be used only once or twice before becoming a parody. Not to mention that it can be improvised about anywhere unlike a complex gadget that leaves the character unarmed if broken.by Mr. Briggs Inc. - Death Reviews

"Shot" should definitely be added seeing as how a cinema gunfight can in fact lead to no one being shot (Just watch The A Team XP), and his archtype should be put up too, especially seeing as he is referred to as "Our hero" XD.by Mr. Briggs Inc. - Death Reviews
