The part where the wife was left to die and her later, brutal murder made my (new) wife cry in the theatre.

Her death was horrible I felt so bad for her could any of you imagine sitting there while someone gouges your eyes out

Yeah,the thumbs in the eyes part and that thick,almost black blood out her eyes...brutal. The author has missed a sort of vital detail though;the virus can spread through bodily fluids yes...but thats not how Don gets infected. She´s strapped down and the only ´way she can hurt him is by biting him. It´s like-Ah,come here,baby,I forgive you,kiss,kiss...bite. Fuc- you for leaving me. Then whe just looks at him with dead eyes before panicking. Very intense scene,though McCormack seems to have been directed a bit inconsistent. Maybe she knew he would get sick or hoped but didbn´t think any further...
