I don't think he was shot in the head, just a chest shot, I guess.

He was shot in the head. His head was by the window and the bullets enter the window next to his head.

That death surely was strange.
It happened so fast and the cutout editing makes it look like an error. The man in white behind him dissapears while Nykwana is being shot.

Do you see all that stuff going on?
