Woo! This movie sounds just as chessy as it's trailer implied (which had many of the moments you describe) John Travolta also takes his lead for "actor who has died most often" even further, with 6 deaths in the database.

We're back, baby!

I did watch it and found it to be much better than this review. It made a number of insightful points and did it well. The 'reviewer" is a cynic professing to be something else.

That is most unfair - when have I ever not claimed to be a cynic?! :pirate:
I thought that the the 'reviewer" is a cynic, that this is a moving movie that John Travolta was very good in. The laughter was because the parts were ment to be funny, other were sad. The information on the technology was right on. This movie will go down as a classic. I did not like the bad comments in the review, this person could not find a good movie if it was infront of him. If you have NOT seen this movie watch it, even today it is a very good movie.
Bunch of cynics. One of the best, geniuine and immensely imtelligent films made. Just goes to show that you didn't get the message of the flim - ultimately we are all connected but idiots like old bluffer are too spiritually and emotionally dumb to see this. Great acting, storytelling and direction. One of my favourites.
You tell him Adam! This film was and will forever be a classic. Helped become aware of reality.
