Shouldn't this also be falling? He did fall off the Edge right?

He didn't really get a chance to fall before he was blown to smithereens.

In your defense though, I will say that the results would have been disastrous had Bond let Wynt stay aboard, the bomb would have killed all three of them! Also, without falling, bomb-wedgie combo doesn't really apply, as the wedgie didn't kill him, it just made him fall!

He is killed by his own bomb. "Own weapon"?

I just saw this movie last night, and I would have to say they were much more evil than Blofeld. In my opinion, they should be listed as Baddy (Major) but thta's just my opinion. I'm sure alot of you guys disagree with me.

They were plenty wicked allright, but their part in the film was relatively minor. Basically just the fact that their death was put as the "surpr'ee'se comeback at the end" says that the movie could've theoretically ended without their deaths. And if you look at MouseBurger's explanation for archetypes here, it tells you that baddie (major)s are those that the movie has to kill off before finishing properly.

I suppose main henchmen like these guys could count, but it could work either way.

That's a great point, Mr. Briggs. I now understand why they're not listed as majors. Thanks.

The name's Bond, James Bond.

According to the credits (and the various James Bond criteria I own due to the fact that I'm a huge fan of the franchise) the character's name is spelled as Mr. Wint with an 'i', not a 'y'.
