I hated Elliot Carver, I really wanted to see that jerk get chopped up to bits. I would've cheered!

My guess is that it isn't clear enough in the review.
What about "Grab Bag"?
Because Bond used the drill, which appeared unexpected.

No, the Stealth ship was already under attack by then so his plan had mostly failed. Because even if the missile had fired the British and Chinese knew he was behind it, so they wouldn't have attacked each other.
