Star Trek: First Contact: Borg Queen (Alice Krige)

Comments for death : Star Trek: First Contact: Borg Queen (Alice Krige).

I personally don't think this write-up is detailed enough - not only would Data align himself because of their sex together (let's not think about that, OK?), but also because she's grafting skin onto his body, bringing him closer to being human.

Data says "Resistance is futile" (the Borg's catchphrase) before smashing in the coolant valve.

The Borg Queen doesn't fall - Data rises out of the coolant (which has melted away the grafted skin), and pulls her under.

Also, she's still sort of alive afterwards - after the coolant has been dispersed, Picard goes to the body of the Queen, where the robotic part of her upper body is still alive, just quivering. In order to tell the audience she is well and truly dead, Picard picks up the spine and snaps it in half.

And the Borg are actually returned to normal - they don't die. Many look somewhat perplexed, actually.
