I'd hardly consider Trey a Goody(more like Ambivilant). He was a real jerk, and gave plenty of indication he physically abuses Gibb whenever she doesn't do as he says given how quiet and submissive she gets whenever he makes threats.

Jason unknowingly did Gibb a favor getting rid of him.
