why did John Hartigan half to commit suicide?he's a good guy.

I agree. Not only was it unnecesary, but it also puts Nancy in danger by taking away her only means of protection. Besides, I've always considered suicide as an easy-out. Living through life's tortures and trials is the only true sacrifice, especially considering everything he'd lived through before this scene.

He killed himself because that way Senator Roarke won't go after Nancy, as the only reason he would is to hurt Hartigan. With Hartigan no longer alive, doing so would accomplish absolutely nothing.

It was Hartigan's final piece of revenge: leaving Roarke with the knowledge that his son's killer got away with it, wouldn't it piss you off if someone killed a family member of yours, then killed themself so the law can't apprehend them and thus they get away with it?

Hi i have never seen this movie and i would really like to can any of you tell me what it is about? it sounds like a good movie but i also need to know it he dies in it? and if he do's how do's he?

Bruce does indeed die in the film, but it is actually a really nicely handled death.

Sin City as a film is actually very good, but I can appreciate that it is not to everyone's taste as it is very stylised (comic book style).

I would recommend seeing it, if you have seen and like the style of 300, then chances are you will like the style of this too.

i could not make it to the premiere for it but i have also been with my father at differint ones like the one for die hard one to four i have also been with him at a lot of stuff sorry dad i'll try fro the next one.
