As any fule no, Gerard Plunektt is Irish.

But he's playing an Englishman in the film.

I love this death, even if I did feel sorry for the guy. When he says the others would've done the same thing about the dog, he's right. When your life is on the line you'll do the unthinkable to save your own life.
