If I were to speculate, i would say the hostility is a combination of factors, usually to do with a lack of power/influence in reality, and so they overcompensate with an alter ego on the internet. Why they would think their opinion is worth anything is a mystery to me, but there you go - if they gets a nibble of a response, i suppose that makes them feel a bit more popular than they really are.


We really need to add a "troll thread" where we can move these posts for posterity....

With regards to Robbie, I guess on some level I could understand his rage, and his desire to fight the aliens. But I severely disliked the way he and Rachel treated Ray, who was only trying to be friendly towards them and protect them.

ROBBIE DID NOT DIE GAY ASSES. WATCH THE END OF THE MOVIE.

and that is why it says halfway through the write up

You're accusing people of not watching the whole movie before commenting on it, yet it is obvious that you are commenting on this death writeup without reading the whole page.

- Learn to turn the Caps Lock Off
- Learn to think of a better insult than "gay asses", because it makes you look like an idiot.
- Learn to read articles more carefully than just scanning through them.

I thought it was ridiculous that Robbie didn't die. He was right in the middle of an explosion! Positively ridiculous.

However, if I was to look at it from the perspective of a girl who doesn't care about logic or storyline, I would say it's brilliant that they brought him back. Now they can do a sequel with the ever attractive Justin Chatwin.
