Was Doom any cartoon in particular? I've had an unsupported theory that he was an underground comic or something of that nature.
Shouldn't you have put cartoon dip? That was really was what killed him.
No, Judge Doom was made up just for the movie, like Roger, Baby Herman, Jessica, and the Weasels.

As for the "Dip", it was created from turpentine, acetone, and benzene, all of which are different kinds of paint thinners.

They actually originally wanted him to be the otherwise anonymous hunter from Bambi, as an in-joke that this is the ultimate kid's movie villain or something. I dunno why they changed their minds.

That sounds logical. It would certainly make his death all the more satisfying.

I was such a sensitive kid when this came out, I actually mourned that squeaky shoe he offed in the beginning. I asked myself "What did that poor shoe do to deserve such a death?" and "Look at how he skulks around like a shoe-shaped kitten! Who would kill something like that?"

I was a little sheltered.

Roger Rabbit and Baby Herman are actual characters of Maroon Cartoons, just not as popular as, oh-say, Mickey Mouse or Bugs Bunny. My little brother found a cartoon of them. I'm not sure about Jessica or the Weasels, though.

Actually, they're from a book called Who Censored Roger Rabbit?, which the movie is based on with a few changes. For example, it deals with Roger's murder rather than his being framed for murder. This was changed for the movie because they figured (rightly) that kids wouldn't like the idea of Roger being killed.

I loved it how his eyes were swirling red when he was readed toward eddie with teh buzzsaw hand and guess why he had the buzz saw hand. I loved it too the way he screamed when a huge amount of dip headed toward him as he screams and IS SENT FLYING!!!!!!

It would have been neat for them to have him revealed as the hunter who killed bambi's mother as well as eddie's brother and it would have made him more evil, but that would have scared the audiences. I loved his yelling im melting and whoa whoa as he melts into a sea of dip.

I wonder what he was behind his mask as a rubber mask was shown in the wake of his melting.

After seeing this movie again, the Dip cannon does not do Judge Doom in. The boxing glove strikes the valve on the rear of the Dip tank, which releases its contents onto Judge Doom.
