There's worse deaths, like Delhurst in Food of the Gods II.

Carnivorous dog penises. What will they think of next? Almost as bad as that trucker in From Dusk til Dawn whose head was bitten off by a massive mouth in the belly of a morbidly obese vampire stripper.

This scene shows us why God gave man the smarts to invent flamethrowers, which did exist in 1933. Too bad the boys didn't have a few; the entire scene would have been less gruesome and more awesome..........DIE you bottom feeder lowlifes!!!!
What about Blaze Of Glory? He certainly didn't go down without a fight.
I also found it really, really horrifying, but in a theatralic, fun kind of way - maybe it's something about the cool special effects, or the fantastical setting, or that the interviews of those involved seem to confirm the initial impression that they really had fun shooting all that, or all of above, but I find it more entertaining than traumatizing.

Some death scenes in slasher or crime film, on the other hand... too real, man, can't watch most of them.
