This scene is the climax of Bram Stokers Dracula,here it is evident that the killing of Lucy is seen as 'revenge' or punishment for posing as threat to the patriarchal society that was dominent during the Victorian era and at the time of the novel.One can even come to the conclusion that this scene depicts gang rape with respect to the theme of sexuality that is prevalient throughout the novel.Stoker might have had the intention of sending a warning or message to the reader about the struggle for womens sexuality and the dominent and overpowering male structure that surpresses women from creating an identity other than that of a passive women.
Or it's just about enjoying the grisly death of a bloodsucking ghoul.winking smiley:sad2:
