You should have a category for minor baddies getting killed by major ones to make the latter seem more badass. This happens in most of the Lethal Weapons, if memory serves.

The only Lethal Weapon this doesn't happen in is the first one. Neither General McCallister or Mr. Joshua execute any henchmen. (There was Michael Hunsacker but he wasn't a 'henchman' just a corrupt banker.)

They had that scene with the lighter in the nightclub, so they didn't need to kill any henchmen to show how bad they were.

True. And it's one of my favorite scenes in the film. McCallister is a rare villain who seems to actually appreciate his henchmen and treat them with respect, always addressing them formally as "Mister" (Mr. Joshua, Mr. Larch, etc.). I can buy that someone would willingly work for him.
