Fathers Birthday need help

My Father has brought up an old movie that he loved when he was young but cant remember many details. I thought this would be a great 55th birthday gift but am having no luck finding the movie.

All the information i have is a monk or priest or several with some kind of beads or neckless that some how hang people from the rafters and thats all he can give me so any help would be great i know its not much to go on.
