I just submitted the death of Mercer (Beckett's assistant) from At World's End. I gave it a 100% for originality and because I liked Mercer, weaselly little creep that he is, 'cause he was a badass and I wanted him to have a spectacular death.

Without spoiling anything, all I gotta say is... yuck!

Major Coulter from The Amazing Colossal Man. Why Coulter's death hasn't been submitted here already is beyond me. The movie itself is cheesy B-movie fluff, but, briefly, it develops a real nasty streak by offing Coulter in a most unique way. I mean, how many death entries can have "Giant Damn Hypodermic Needle" listed as the killing object?

I just submitted Donny's death from The Big Lebowski.

Ackland (the bounty hunter) from The Plague Dogs.

Looked at my writeup for Mercer, realized it sucked, and so wrote a new one which I shall submit immediately after this (the first was written based on a clip of Mercer's, er, tentacle-y demise I found on YouTube, but I actually saw the movie yesterday so now I'm better equipped to do a more thorough writeup).

Martin Blower, Eve Draper, George Merchant, Tim Messenger (ouch!) and Leslie Tiller in Hot Fuzz.

Just submitted Colin's death from The Departed

9-category wonder Mai Lihn from Live Free or Die Hard AKA Die Hard 4.0.

It's the only death I know that has a 'One on One' fight with 'Martial Arts', that ends up with someone being 'Run Over' and 'Crushed' into a lift shaft when it goes into a 'Crash', before getting caught in 'Machinery', and the pair fight some more, using cables from 'Strangulation', before the car ends up 'Falling' and going up in an 'Explosion'. Phew...

I may have fudged a few minor things up, including some small categories (while writing Bozworth I added a note that there was no "Deflation" category, where "Exsanguination" would have worked). I forgot to add "The Never Dead" to the title of Phantasm for instance. I was, and still am pretty scared that my modem could go out any time now.
