The grandson of a reclusive millionnaire, Junior, is obviously the runt of his litter. He's addicted to percocet (whatever the hell that is), is a coward, shouts a lot to hide his inadequacies and is extremely stupid.
It is with a certain amount of satisfaction therefore, that we see him get major burns across his arm and face, after persisting with trying to gas Mother and Daughter Altman with propane.
The excruciating pain of his burns, plus the realisation that he is going to need a plastic surgeon and fast, is enough to make Junior give up his ill advised assault on the Panic Room, and he tells his partners in crime in a typically mouthy fashion. Unfortunately he accidently lets slip that there is far more than the 3 million dollars he promised, which infuriates the other two thieves.
Earlier in the film, Junior had already mouthed off to Raoul (q.v), a balaclava garbed gunman who is obviously unhinged. Not the smartest of moves, but that is kind of the point: "You know what? You're a bus-driver, *Raoul*! You live in Flatbush! So don't start spouting some Elmore Leonard bullshit you just heard because I saw that movie too."
It comes as no surprise then, that Raoul is happy for the opportunity to to shoot him in the back of the head as he tries to leave the building.
Just to make sure of the killing, he then shoots the corpse again - at this point I made a mental note never to piss off a New York bus driver.
The "Prophecy" category is slightly spurious, but Junior cracks a mirror early on in the film and Raoul tells him "that's seven years bad luck". As soon as he said that I knew Raoul would end up killing him, so it was vaguely prophetic.
