Following the revelation that his son might be the child of Satan, the ambassador and the reporter have come to Jerusalem to seek a scholar on such things. The ambassador is given seven knives with which to kill the child, but apparently he is not able to suspend his disbelief this far and so throws them away.

The reporter goes to retrieve the knives, but in so doing, a grisly chain of events occur: the handbrake of a small van is released which sends the van hurtling down the hill towards the reporter; it crashes and comes to an abrupt halt. This sudden deceleration causes a pane of glass on the back of the van to shoot out towards the reporter and slices his head clean off.

This dismemberment was prophesied by the reporter when he took a picture of himself in the mirror which, when developed, showed something penetrating his neck.

Comment 4 by 'Kooshmeister' (reply to this comment)
Depends on you ask. He's definitely a deity, albeit an evil one.
