Vijay is a regional MI6 Agent and friend of James Bond.

As Bond goes on one of his moonlight reconnaisance missions, to infiltrate an island crammed full with gorgeous scantily clad women, Vijay is left to keep watch on anyone else entering the island.

To help pass the time, Vijay sits by the shore fishing. He is caught completely by surprise by Kamal's (q.v.) thugs who restrain him while from up above a man with a rather nasty looking Yo-Yo saw attached to a chain gets into position.

The camera strategically cuts away from us seeing the saw embed into Vijay, the cameraman preferring to film some footage of a flock of birds flying off from the lake instead.

What makes this death work for me is that the Yo-Yo Thug, prior to doing his nasty work, has this funny sort of expression and does a little shrug as if to say, "Sorry, just business, no hard feelings."

It should also be mentioned Vijay actually survived this and lived long enough to tell Q, who finds him, that it was Khan's men.
