Having been reunited with his family and his humanity restored, Caleb feels his undead experience is finally over. However, it is not to be, as the vampire gang that had turned him has returned, and soon enough Caleb's sister is missing! Finding his tyres slashed, Caleb must pursue on horseback.

When he arrives in town, his horse suddenly rears back in terror, throwing him off, and it runs off into the night. Seconds later, Caleb finds Severan, a particularly sadistic, spur-wearing member of the vampire family standing over him. Seconds later, Caleb has been tossed all the way across the street. Severan is not finished with him yet though, and he begins to approach Caleb, taunting him as he draws closer, ready to get his spur back and knock Caleb's tonsils out of his asshole, as he so vividly puts it. With Caleb unable to fight back against a pissed-off vampire, it would appear he stands no chance.

At that moment, a propane truck is driving in. Caleb wants to prevent the driver from ending up in the crossfire and so he rushes over and flags the truck down, trying to convince the driver to get out of town. The driver is completely unaware of the danger he is in, and he begins to count down, ordering Caleb to get away from him before he is done. He does not manage to reach the number he had intended before Severan has shot him in the head with a pistol from outside.

"BULLSEYE!" Severan shouts triumphantly. But, with something big to hit him with now, Caleb takes the wheel of the truck and floors the pedal, approaching Severan. Being a vampire though, Severan is completely unafraid, and he strides towards the approaching truck, arms spread, beckoning Caleb closer until Caleb mows him down, seemingly killing him. Thinking the vampire dead, Caleb takes a moment to cheer, but the celebrations are cut short when he sees a hand rise from the front of the truck...

Severan, bearing an uncanny resemblance to fresh roadkill, begins crawling up the front of the truck, grinning like the maniac and he begins tearing a hole in the hood, ripping out wires as he does so. Eventually finds his target: the brake cable. Satisfied, he waves it in front of the windshield at Caleb. "Hey, Caleb! Fasten your f**kin' seatbelt!" he shouts, but Caleb has another idea. Turning on the cigarette lighter and the heat, Caleb immediately jumps out of the truck and gets away. Soon enough, the truck overheats, and the propane explodes, blowing the truck (and Severan) to smithereens.
