Vincent Ludwig's plot to assassinate the Queen of England during a California Angels game has been foiled by the bumbling Frank Drebin. His attempt at taking Drebin's love interest Jane having also failed, Drebin shoots Ludwig with his tranquilizer dart cufflinks.
A worried spectator says to Frank, "You killed him!" but Frank replies, "It's just a sedative; he'll be alright in a couple of minutes." The timing of this comment could not be more inappropriate as Ludwig backs over the safety railing and plummets to the ground.
Drebin and his superior, Captain Ed Hocken, run over to the railings to see what if Ludwig is still alive. All hope of his survival is lost when, bus runs over his body as it lies in the road. It doesn't stop there though, as Ludwig’s body is then run over by a steamroller, and finally trampled on by a high school marching band, playing "Louie, Louie."
Ed starts crying, saying "It's horrible, it's so horrible." before adding that his "father went the same way."
I forgot to set the rating percentage, but I would set it at a 100%. Just so random it's funny, and the ways in which Ludwig is ensured a closed-casket funeral are hilarious. At least you can't say it wasn't an unsatisfying end for him. Also, his archetype is Baddy (Major).
Also, the onscreen title for this movie is "The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!"
