(Read Sir Galahad's death before this one!)

The Old Man From Scene Twenty Four finally gets a taste of his own medicine wheh he tries to catch out Arthur, King of the Britons.
His final question is a real beauty: "What is the air/speed velocity of an unladen swallow?"

Arthur knows a few things though, and imperiously demands to know "What do you mean? African or European swallow?"

"Uh? I don't know that!" is all the Bridgekeeper manages to blurt out before the Gorge claims its third victim in as many minutes.

King Arthur isn't going to let some smelly old pensioner get the better of him!

I do love this switcheroo! As with his victims, the expression on his face the split second before he's hurled to his doom is classic! Also love the way they bring the seemingly completely random swallow debate from the start back up!
