After destroying the deadly Rabbit of Caerbannog, Arthur and the remnants of his travelling band of knights enter the dark caverns with Brother Maynard to find the final writings of Joseph of Arimathea, which details the final resting place of the Holy Grail.

The translation is "The Castle Aaaaarrrrrrggghhh". This, understandably baffles Arthur and his knights, as "Aaaaarrrrrrggghhh" is a most unusual name for a castle. After a few moments of possible theories that the translation was misspelled and something else was intended, or if Joseph for some inexplicable reason chose to carve "Aaaaarrrrrrggghhh" as he died (instead of simply saying it). Lancelot, wonders whether he meant "St. Aaaarrrrggghh-ves" (in Cornwall), when Sir Bedevere suddenly looks behind them and howls out in horror. As in he was making a noise of surprise and alarm, not in an attempt to decypher the translations. The knights and Brother Maynard turn around and find themselves face-to-face with a huge, animated monster that inhabits the cave.

"It's the legendary Black Beast of Aaaaarrrrrrggghhh--" Maynard exclaims, and the monster promptly devours him up. Rather then face this foe, Arthur and his knights instead choose to run away, and the Beast immediately gives chase through the many tunnels of the cave. After a few moments of running, Arthur and his knights seemingly have evaded their monstrous pursuer, and quietly search for a way out. Their loud whispering, however, gives them away and the Beast finds them again, and the chase resumes.

The Narrator then provides us the details of what happens next: "The horrendous Black Beast lunged forward! Escape for Arthur and his knights seemed hopeless... when suddenly, the animator suffered a fatal heart attack!"

We briefly cut to Terry Gilliam, who was animating the scene, and he instantly falls dead from his chair.

We cut back to the scene, the Black Beast suddenly freezes, its color fades out till it has turned completely white, and it fades out of existance, ending the cartoon peril and allowing the quest for the Holy Grail to continue.
