Hai Fat is a wealthy industrialist, who has hired top assassin Scaramanga (q.v.) to kill a British scientist and steal his device for harnessing solar energy. This assassination attracts the attention of the British secret service, much to Hai Fat's annoyance.
When he finally meets Scaramanga, he is rather irreverent to the assassin, suggesting that it was a mistake to hire him, and Scaramanga was not as discreet as Hai Fat had been led to believe.
His outward expression never changes, but the audience can tell that Scaramanga is incandescent with rage at this - and under the table he begins to assemble his golden gun. When High Fat turns around, he is shocked to see the gun aiming squarely at him, and Scaramanga kills him with a single shot to the head.
As he is leaving Hai Fat's compound, he remarks to one of the guards "He always liked that mausoleum - put him in it"
What do they teach at that academy?ballet dancing?
No.I find nothing amusing in Mr. James Bond's escape...May i remind you that you work for me?I took you on to be an occasional consultant, nothing more.I did not pay you to interfere in my affairs. Is that understood?
Yes very clear.
I now regret having even considered employing your services, but that is beside the point.Bond doesn't know you;he's never seen you.But he knows me.That's the problem.
That's not the problem.
BANG!
Mr. Fat has just resigned.I am the new Chairman of the board.
He always did like that mausoleum.Put him in it.
This should imply that these two don't know each other too well "Former friends" doesn't exactly work.
Yes, but the fact that Scaramanga and Hai Fat have actually met means they are more than just business acquaintances - after all, i dont think a stranger could simply take over Hai Fat's company on his untimely death, even if he is Count Dracula

I think Head Shot should be removed and be replaced with plain ol' shot. I saw the film yesterday and Scaramanga doesn't kill Hai Fat with a shot to the head, he shoots him in the chest. There wasn't any blood on his forehead or anything and there was gunsmoke from an elevation similar to Hai Fat's chest. I'm pretty sure Hai Fat didn't get shot in the head.
