Now that he has discovered the truth about the wasteland outside of the city, Logan returns and is promptly interrogated by the city computer (which has a rather sexy voice, it has to be said).

The interrogation takes the form of a "surrogation", which seems to involve extracting his memories in the form of holographic faces, which then answer questions about the rebel stronghold of "Sanctuary" truthfully.
This spells the end for the computer's logic circuits, as the faces intone "There is no sanctuary". Infuriated, the computer scolds Logan, but when his responses remain unchanged, the computer terminals start to glitch and display the equivalent of a Microsoft "blue screen of death".
The resulting software crash causes widespread devastation in the city, as all the automated services break down, and the populace is forced outside the previously prohibited city seals.

That is what I call a serious computer crash!

There they meet the Whiskery Old Man (Peter Ustinov), who is an instant hit in a society where nobody is a day older than thirty, and beauty is achieved as easily as combing ones hair (provided the surgical machine doesn't malfunction of course).

Peter Ustinov gets probed by a young hottie, and we close this review with a final look at Jenny Agutter's thighs.

How about "Psi" or at least "Ironic"? It was killed by a logical error within it's own computer mind.
