Bond, has just stolen a Hercules plane loaded with tonnes of opium, much to the annoyance of the Russians. Necros, the Soviet assassin, manages to get on board the plane before it takes off and hides himself in the cargo hold.
In flight, Bond asks concert cellist, and the film's bit of fluff, to take control of the plane while he pops into the cargo hold to diffuse a bomb he planted. Once in the cargo hold, Bond and Necros have the typical bond film struggle, which leads to the cargo door to the plan being opened and the sacks of heroin to fall out of the back.
Bond and Necros also fall out of the back plane, but both manage to cling on to the cargo net. Typically, Bond manages to gain the advantage and ends up with Necros clinging on for dear life to Bond's boot. Pulling out his trusty pocket knife, Bond cuts through his own laces and the boot falls off, as does Necros.
Necros:"No!Please."
Necros falls with Bond's shoe
Kara Milovy:"What happened?"
James Bond:"He got the boot."
one on one? And unsatisfying, I really wanted Bond to say spiert sponom, or whatever it was to Necros just before he killed him. And revenge for Saunders.
Well if we list this as "Revenge" because Necros killed Saunders, we'll have to list Grant from From Russia With Love as "Revenge" as well, since he killed Kerim Bey, as well as a few other Bond villains who've killed Bond's allies in their respective films. Really the only out-and-out "Revenge" cases have been Blofeld and Sanchez.
(Although to be fair I may be something of a hypocrite since I believe I may have listed the yet-to-be-posted Imposter writeup under "Revenge" because Bond chases him down and kills him immediately after he murdered another Double-O agent.)
And, "Unsatisfying" is subjective, I think. I for one quite liked their little tussle on the cargo net.
