Having foiled a major heroin shipment from Afghanistan, Bond goes to Morocco to where the financier, and armchair general, Brad Whitaker resides.
When Bond tells him he has destroyed Whitakers opium, Whitaker uses a strategically placed drawer to knock Bond to the ground and grab himself a rather high tech gun (that would not have been out of place in Moonraker).
A small game of cat and mouse ensues, but as ever, Bonds gadgets come to the rescue. He places a key ring (with an explosive charge) behind a bust of Wellington. Bond then patiently waits for Whitaker to get into a suitable position before whistling to the key ring, which detonates the charge.
The blast is not that strong, but is powerful enough to cause the large bust of Wellington to topple onto Whitaker, crushing him to death.
How could you forget Bond's quip here? It's a classic.
"He met his Waterloo."
