Vogel is a lantern-jawed brute of a Nazi Colonel who is helping Walter Donovan and Elsa Schneider retrieve the Holy Grail. He is commanding a tank in a convoy of cars and horses that is making its way to the canyon of the crescent moon, the resting place of the Grail.

Indiana Jones interferes with the schemes of the Nazis once again, and Vogel is determined to make it the last time. After some horseplay, Jones makes it onto the tank, and a brutal fight ensues. It looks bad for Jones, as Vogel doesn't fight fair, and doesn't fight alone but with help, he dispatches all of Vogel's underlings, rescues his father, and rescues Marcus too. He then notices the tank is headed straight for a cliff. Indy gets off, but before he does so, he shoves Vogel back into the tank, and the screaming Nazi is carried over the cliff to his death.

As Henry Jones Jr. has to fight off more than one of these goons, would "Melee" count?

Well, the fisticuffs with the soldiers occur prior to Vogel going over the cliff. In fact, since he comes after Indy with a shovel and Indy takes special care to repeatedly slam his face against the tank turret (a la slamming the soldier's head against the dashboard in Raiders of the Lost Ark), would this count as One On One?

It definitely needs to be Crash, too, at any rate. In fact this death deserves the Crash category more than Gobler's, since unlike Gobler's car we actually get to see Vogel's tank hit the bottom of the gorge.

Yes, that makes sense, i have added crash as a category. i am trying to remember if, when hitting the bottom of the gorge, the tank explodes too? my memory seems to think it doesn't, it just rolls over. Can either of you chaps confirm (i am too lazy to search for it on the DVD!)? winking smiley
Comment 4 by 'Kooshmeister' (reply to this comment)
Well if memory serves, no. We never actually see the tank go boom.
Comment 5 by 'Mr Mouseburger' (reply to this comment)
cheers for that. it does make a change for hollywood not to add in a nice big explosion following a crash though!! grinning smiley

Duel for one.

Frankly guys,I just like seeing Nazis get it up the ass in any type of fight.
especially if they are trying to grab a holy relic that they have no business with in the first place.

What, and Indiana does? winking smiley

Any guy that bashes the crap out of a Nazi's face (on two occasions!) before slaughtering hundreds more of 'em deserves the right to the Grail and the Ark, in my book.

the tank the nazis is falls, hits the ground, the turrent of the tank falls off, then in the next screen the turrent is back on the tank and it exploads lol

I just realized that Marcus is the one who is technically responsible for Vogel's death. The tank only goes off the cliff because the driver is dead, and he's dead because he was accidentally shot by the soldier Marcus hit.
