Ook, a henchman of Darwin and Minerva Mayflower, was assigned to follow Hudson Hawk along with his identical twin brother, Igg (q.v.), to make sure the Hawk completes his mission to steal the Codex. The two of them lose Hawk at the Vatican museum when he trips an alarm using a stuffed elephant, and he manages to ditch them in the ensuing chaos.
Upon returning to their bosses following Hawk's successful theft of the Codex, Darwin Mayflower berates them for failing to stay with the Hawk the entire time: "If there is one thing I detest, it is failure. You had only to follow the Hawk. It's not like I asked you to teach our nation's children how to read!"
He then turns to his wife, Minerva, and says, "I suppose we'll just have to kill them." Both Igg and Ook start to protest when Minerva produces a loaded pistol and shoots both twins in the head. Ook dies second, groaning "Ook!", his last spoken word being his own name (just like his brother).
Do the two have a long lost brother on this very site named ARRGH!?
Their names are actually introduced as a joke. While they're accompanying Hawk he jokingly asks them, "What do they call you guys? Igg and Ook?" and the twins simply look at one another. Then, as noted, they cry "Igg!" and "Ook!" upon being shot, and then are referred to by those names in the credits. In the script they're simply called "Twin Flunkeys," though, and the scene where Hawk jokingly asks their names is nowhere to be found, as is the bit where they say their own names as they die.
I love these two. They're two of my favorite movie henchmen ever, and the fact they look like preppier clones of Agent Smith just makes it better.
Btw, both Ook and his brother Igg ought to be "Baddy (Minor)," considering their status as evil henchmen.
i have to agree with mr. Kooshmeister they are Baddy (Minor).
